Alicia Buckles leads the technical recruiting teams at Redfin. Her teams recruit talent for locations based in Seattle and San Francisco to support Redfin’s technology growth and innovation; working on Redfin’s mission to reinvent real estate in the consumer’s favor. 

She leads with data to implement programmatic and technology-enabled solutions that enhance the candidate experience and improve recruiter efficiency. She has a deep knowledge of each phase of the talent lifecycle and understanding of how that ties to the business and company strategy. She thrives on creating an environment that fosters diversity, hard work, innovation, and fun! 

Prior to her current role, she was a recruiting manager at Amazon for over six years, building a team from the ground up to support a new digital Amazon platform. This included staffing a new location for Amazon in Irvine, California, focusing on building a brand, team culture, and assimilation while the business was in hyper growth. 

When she is not busy helping her team think about new ways to find the best talent she enjoys getting outdoors and traveling around the world. Her most recent trip was sailing the Cyclades Greek Islands for a month this summer.
